I shouldn't blame a tv programme for distracting me from writing a novel, but when I get gripped by a series, it's hard to focus on anything til I've watched every episode I can.
It was Mad Men when I was working on Wife Support System (Jon Hamm even gets a mention in the first chapter) and I'm currently having the same problem with Bridgerton. I can pretty much guarantee that Regé-Jean Page's Duke of Hastings will feature in a future book. Quite possibly in a dream sequence. I'm doing the research for that now. It's a tough life.
