Today I received the first paperback copies of my debut novel Wife Support System (out Thursday 11th March – https://amzn.to/2P7D7hf Just thought I'd slip that in there!)
To mark the occasion, I decided to make a video of me opening the books.
It didn't quite go according to plan. My daughters squabbled throughout and wouldn't let me play the Star Wars theme tune in the background (apparently it was "cringe") and stopped filming before I'd actually opened the box. And my husband told us to be quiet as he was on a Zoom call. The glamorous life of a published author.
We eventually got there with take two. Again, not as I'd envisaged, but it actually sums up the book – mums struggling to combine work with raising kids!
